I was reading in the Daily Chronological Bible this morning (actually reading yesterday’s message) and read the following VERY well-known and quoted Verse of the Bible:
2 Chronicles 7:14 ~
“If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face,
AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS;
THEN will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.”
I asked the LORD, “what is ‘wicked’?”
This is what the Holy Spirit said in my spirit:
“WICKED IS SELF-INTERESTS RATHER THAN GOD-INTERESTS”
OH WOW!!!! I was quite stunned and speechless.
I had NOT heard that taught or discussed before. It really lined up with the end times warning in 2 Timothy3:2, about “lovers of self”.
This revelation understanding, from the Holy Spirit is what prompted the post today and the question we EACH truly need to humble ourselves and ask the LORD:
“AM I SEEKING SELF-INTERESTS OR YOUR INTERESTS, FATHER?”
IF it is revealed that we have been seeking self-interests, then we MUST REPENT!!!!!
If we do NOT repent from this wickedness of self-seeking, we are heading into eternal damnation, for the reality is this:
WE are “on the throne” in our life. .. We are allowing ourselves to be led by sinful “self” and satan . . . and have NOT FULLY SUBMITTED TO AND SOUGHT THE LORD YAHSHUA, TO BE LORD OF OUR LIVES!!!
REMEMBER THIS: Yahshua is coming back for a PASSIONATE Bride who loves HIM 100% heart, mind, soul and strength and loves HIM more than life itself.
Are YOU ready to step into eternity? Today could be YOUR last day here in this life.

Seek the LORD while He may be found;

I researched a little as to the early movement of the Salvation Army. They sought to relieve financial burdens and preach the Gospel in the streets. They were persecuted and some were martyred.
Bricks were thrown at them, lime was thrown into the eyes of a child with them. Dead cats were thrown at them.
“In this world, you will have tribulation.”
Where do we get the idea that the goal here is “comfort” and even sometimes subliminally that “the one that dies with the most ‘toys’ wins”???

This culture promotes “self” so much that most think that they are doing the right thing in pursuing it.
We must turn away from the culture and see what the Word says.
It says that we must die to “self.”

Wow, I missed the radio show part!
Excellent posts and I never did see self interest! Self is so opposite God and yet so much surgery to go………scary how self, idolatry, adultry (in any sense of the word) pride, fear, the list goes on but all leads to self. Thank you Lord for being so patient with me and even when it’s a 2X4, for your correction and love!!!
JCs, post…….excellent too. Brought to mind this came up awhile back and how it can be taken too far also. I went from never saying what the Lord said, to saying too much and now back to the quieter time…….oh the waiting………..sometimes it feels everyone is moving forward so fast and I’m stuck on the phonograph needle…………

Tell the host to turn up your volume to max so i can listen through My cellphone. Earphones dont work the plug is busted. So remember MAX volume! Bettes program was a little hard to listen too for that reason! Old forklift drivers dont hear too well, My wife says im deaf sometimes. Its the age im sure 😽

Since i got married i have always attempted to keep the Lord as the centerpiece of our Life and family.
1 Tim 5:8 says that whoever does not take Care of his own is worse than an infidel or unbeliever or heretic whatever the brand.
The Lord loves his family IF IT is the body of believers in Jesus work on the cross or your physical family.
In that verse case id say the intention is to focus a mans attention on his physical family. A thing too oftenly neglected these days.

I agree.it boils down to one thing…Are we promoting Gods agenda or our own,Whom are we representing??????
There is a reckoning day a coming and while there is still some time to repent,there is also those in hell that which they could ,but there are also them in hell that have no desire to repent and don’t want to hear it. They hate where they are, but they hate God more and they loved their sin more than they loved God.
I was just hearing a video about an agent leaving a suicide note of what is to come,,,,,People ,when all else fails and there is nothing left. God will be your only answer…….
