2-7-16 – “No Eye Has Seen . . . No Ear Has Heard . . . “

1 Corinthians 2:8-16 –

“the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood;
for if they had understood it
they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;
but just as it is written,

“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

For to us God revealed them through the Spirit;
for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

For who among men knows the thoughts of a man
except the spirit of the man which is in him?

Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world,
but the Spirit who is from God,
so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,
which things we also speak,
not in words taught by human wisdom,
but in those taught by the Spirit,
combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God,

for they are foolishness to him;
and he cannot understand them,
because they are spiritually appraised.

For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him?

The Bible tells us, “We walk by faith and not by sight.”

Sounds great, doesn’t it? BUT . . . I would venture to say that has really NOT been the case for MOST of us in the “Western Nations”. . . . . NOPE!!!

It has been more like: “We walk by our ability to make income, putting away money in our retirement account and some day, LORD willing, I’ll go on a missions trip to Hawaii.”

Hmmmmm. . . . Uhhh, not quite the “faith walk” our forefathers and mothers had to walk, or even our brothers and sisters in MOST nations around the globe have to walk RIGHT NOW, particularly those in countries where being a Christian means:

LIKELY PERSECUTION and even DEATH.

WHAT’S THE POINT OF THIS POST?

We have been quite spiritually lazy  . . LUKEWARM. . . in our comfortable “Western Nation” lives, reading the Bible (well, sometimes) . . . .which is still readily available to us, praying a quick here and there, maybe singing a worship song or two, going to the Sunday Social Clubs, where “nice messages” are spewed forth from the puke-pits, I mean pulpits. . . AND thinking “persecution” is when somebody says snarky comments to us.

WELL . . . THAT’S ABOUT TO CHANGE!!! Because we can’t have our faith tested . . . . Well . . .  unless it’s actually tested.

OH I KNOW . . . UH OH is right. . . BUT GUESS WHAT? That is where we REALLY get to see more of the TRUE POWER of the Holy Spirit, as we get PURIFIED. . . WITH FIRE!!!

Peter had to step outside of that boat for him to see that through faith . . . .listening to and obeying Jesus who called him out onto the water . . . He too was able to walk on the water, until his faith failed . . . He started sinking. . . .BUT EVEN THEN, Jesus grabbed him and lifted him up.

  3. Thank you all, what a blessing!! I was away from home a bit much the past days, and returned to see these prayers.
    I’m also excited. I read the article posted by JC on smell. I smelled bread baking day before yesterday when I was out caring for my chickens!!! NOT a place to smell baking bread lol. Thank you Jesus.

    We are moving into perilous times and I just want to give Him praise, Glory and honor for Who He is and for the protection over us as we move forward.

    I receive the prayers and am agreeing. There are new “marching orders” coming along with the ones present. We will be spending time in our home as of today, listening to JD Farag’s teaching on Holy Spirits gifts. We have a “houseguest” very new in the Lord and all that is going on is also waking up my dear husband. I see a stepping over the line in him that has not been there before. A sobering “seeing” these things are going on and happening. I could just jump up and down and shout! He was Catholic yet not, got very angry when things like immorality such as the gays not going to heaven without repentance etc and now I see and feel conviction that has lasted a few weeks. He is now on the Lords side, out of the enemy’s clutches and eyes wide open! We have the Word on CD every night and have had for the nearing 8 years of marriage. The Word has taken root and holding water in fertile ground. Oh what a glorious answer to prayer and for such a time as this!

    Going to catch up on the rest of the posts. God bless you all and I pray His winds of refreshing touch each and every one in the midst of all going on!

  4. Ahhhh. . . Mr. Peeps . . Yes, this was the warning I was prompted to post back in December. It wasn’t my dream, but it was a call for intercession against this possible attack in December.
    I do believe there are prophecies that N. Korea . . . Mr. Peeps will be eventually hitting one of the W. Coast cities with a nuke. I don’t remember where I read/saw/heard that. Also, Seattle, Washington comes to mind, but I’m not exactly sure about that either.

  11. Stig-ov, you crack me up! First of all I have to say is my hubby can’t carry a note in a bucket, so no singing ANYTHING from him please! We drive trucks, no donkeys, doggies are cattle and no AR15s. He did however kill a bear with a handgun and a raccoon with his bare hands.

    There are lots of nerdy cowboys and plenty that are really big. Watch a rodeo sometime and look at the belly on some of the steer wrestlers lol.

    Oh, I make bread, don’t know too many women who make bullets. Hubby casts a lot of lead for bullets, he also makes weights and sinkers for fishing.

    Maybe we should spread your impression though and all those refugees they are planning to bring here will rethink it.

  17. Absolutely, doesn’t surprise me one bit lady gag gag is going to be the star as Lucifer. I don’t think I will watch it or any of the duperbowl today, but will definitely be in prayer for any direction.

    I suppose you could say it is more of an analogy from most people’s perspective. I have seen it so many times; it has become a story of refining and some of the mistakes that can be made or the pitfalls of not listening to the Father! Maybe I should write a book about all the things that go through my head when I think of the Refiner’s Fire. It has always fascinated me for some reason.

    Maybe it would be a good idea to get a little voice recorder, so you can at least speak the dream into the recorder . . Then later write them down.

  28. Thank you Peggy, all of you. I love the bootcamp analogy Linda………. yet it’s not really an analogy is it?

    Ha! Night before last I asked Holy Spirit to let me start having and remembering my dreams again. Been a bit of a short dream, dry period……….high pain time and yet I know He will see me through this………That morning I had a dream that I knew was significant and couldn’t remember all of it. Same thing last night, I asked before going to sleep and knew I would dream the dreams He gave me. Woke up not wanting to get up but too painful once again to stay in bed. Soooooooooo I’m grumbling in my spirit and bad attitude while getting coffee……………I got a Holy Ghost spanking right then. It had to do with my attitude upon waking was selfish, grumbling and dreading the day. The pain didn’t matter, I am supposed to praise Him in the pain, then He moves. Thank you Lord!

    I have watched as lead was refined to make bullets. The ingots are melted in extreme heat and as they are melting the dross (all the gunk and impurities) rise to the top and are skimmed off. You continue heating the lead and skimming the dross until all the lead is melted and the dross is gone. Only then, can you cast/make bullets. I love an allegorical interpretation of this with us being the ingots and the heating process the Holy Spirit takes us through is all the difficulties, struggles and trials we have in our life. Jesus keeps skimming off the dross until all the impurities are gone. Then we can be cast (fulfill our assignments) into bullets for God to use against the enemy. Don’t jump out of the refiner’s fire dear ones! It is almost time to be cast into bullets!

    Many of the words on here have expressed the time is very short. Even the enemy is revealing more and more of Mr. sulfur’s plan. Very interesting post regarding the grammy awards which are February 15th.

    HE wants us to hear and obey Him, even more than we do .. . So as we continue to do as you stated above, which is a place of rest . . . HE will let you know what the “marching orders” will be.

Great post and responses this morning – Just a different feel to everything right now – feeling in my spirit to just listen, be aware of what is going on around us, learn and soak up HIS words and do not be discouraged or panic that I think I have not heard from HIM yet… you will. HAVE FAITH . Feels like we are in a last pre mission task that is crucial to focusing on last minute adjustments and spiritual alignments on Him. The evil one would love nothing more than for us to look over and get distracted right at the point we are docking into our eternal destiny ports.

  34. 😓😓 on that newest baby killing.

    I have had to face this rejection, mocking, scorning, rejection for quite some time. . . it propels me into Jesus even more. . . the ONLY place I have received comfort. It has been very difficult, yet I knew and know it’s all a part of the “prep” for these final days.

    Think about this: the military sends new recruits to BOOTCAMP. You’re not going to BOOTCAMP for a vacation. . . NOPE. . . so too are the difficult, painful times in our life: BOOTCAMP.
    We survived and if we allowed the LORD into those difficult areas . . . HE restored us and it will be used as a weapon against the dark forces.

    Those difficult times that we have overcome will also be used to help others. WE made it and can share our testimony about how we made it through JESUS . . . and THAT is what will help bring many souls into the Kingdom of Heaven.

    Stepping out in faith. Excellent posts and one the Lord has been dealing strongly, strongly with. Is anyone else finding it easier to deal with rejection in these last days? At first it was being on guard not to pick up a spirit of rejection, yet the pain was there and a process. Now it seems easier to leave it in His hands and just press on. He is preparing His children to handle more and more rejection, mocking and ridicule for what is to come. Sometimes rejection simply comes from the unspoken……….sharing Jesus and every other topic except Him, our Lord comes up………..it’s past this now, it’s past having family look at us like we are lunatics………..in all this I see His love, mercy and Grace.

    He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I needed to “hear” all the posts this morning. My heart is on the floor over the killing of babies and so blatant, God help us. My faith is not shaken but my spirit and heart are filled with grief.

  45. I truly believe many of us are already being called out of our comfort zones, we just need to listen. The Holy Spirit guides us when we have open communication to the Lord in our hearts. May we also continue asking for discernment, as we need to make sure the Lord is telling us something and not “self speak”. What we want for ourselves or someone else may want from us, could be in contrast to what the Lord has planned for us.
