12-19-15: The Kind Elderly Gentleman Was Known in the Neighborhood . . .

He lived a modest life, never owned a car and preferred the old black dial phone that he was given by his Grandfather, back in 1958.

He would go outside for his daily walk, tipping his hat at the ladies and saying “good morning” to all he met.

He would walk slowly to the local coffee shop, on 4th St, to drink his daily cup of coffee and watch the people as they walked by.

He had a secret that nobody knew about. He was a multi-millionaire, who had been given instructions by his grandfather, who made the family fortune.

His secret was this: Starting when he reached the age of 65, he was instructed to purposely be kind to all, greet all he met and the individual who stopped to talk to him, would be given a million dollars.

Sadly, twenty years later and now at the age of 85, nobody had taken the time to stop to talk to him.

Most would smile, nod and continue walking on by. Everybody knew him, or so they thought, but nobody took the time to stop to even talk to him for a moment.

The old man slowly walked home, grieving, because he could not bless anybody on yet another day.

So it is with the Holy Spirit and MOST in the professing “body of Christ”. We smile, nod and continue walking on by . . . busy with our lives and don’t take time to know Him, to talk to Him and listen to Him, even though we profess He lives within us.

The Holy Spirit has gifts, blessings, guidance, direction, wisdom, warnings and is waiting for each person who will heed what He whispers in their hearts, or through the Bible, or in dreams and visions. . . . but sadly, MOST people keep walking on by. . . grieving the Holy Spirit, because they don’t want to take the time to stop and truly know Him.

Ephesians 4:30 –
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

It is a VERY dangerous thing, my friends, to grieve the Holy Spirit. If we continue in that state of rebellion, we WILL bring judgement upon our heads.

Isaiah 63:10“But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He fought against them.

PLEASE . . . Daily ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and show you any area that is unpleasing to the LORD . .. REPENT where you need to repent.

FORGIVE ALL who have sinned against you.

SEEK THE LORD JESUS, OUR SAVIOR, YAHSHUA, WHILE HE STILL MAY BE FOUND. . . For the day is coming when each person who reads this post . . . And all who are alive right now. . .  . . Will be stepping into eternity. . . READY OR NOT.

Comments are most welcome in my “virtual home”, here on this blog, where the LORD JESUS CHRIST, whose Hebrew name is Yahshua, is lifted up and the TRUTH is being told.

Mockers & scoffers, those with hateful comments, and those who bring discord will NOT find their messages posted. . . .

POOF!!! There it goes . . . Bye-bye to the trash.

PLEASE NOTE: ANY ADS LOCATED ON MY BLOGS ARE NOT MY CHOICE, NOR DO I ENDORSE ANY OF THE THEM. . . I have a free account from WordPress, which may place ads of their choosing on my posts. I suppose it’s a good example of “you get what you pay for”. Currently “free” is all I can afford, but THANK YOU JESUS, I’m able to do this at all.

  1. Linda thank you, what you speak is the truth. Linda and all could you please pray for me as I lost my job of 17yrs due to layoffs. I’m praying that God would bless me with a better job than the one I lost.

Thank you and God bless all , and Merry Christmas to all.

    1. I will pray, Rob, that the LORD will open doors that none can shut, and shut doors that none can open. I pray He will grant you increased wisdom and ability to hear His voice. We’re now in a time where many of us are being called away from what we did for employment. . . Into what the Heavenly Father has destined us to do. Please seek Him. . . There may be something for you that is different than you know right now.
Blessings to you and may you have the PEACE of the LORD surround you and fill you with a sense of calm that goes beyond human understanding.

  2. Linda, I was just reading your post on Steve Qualye tonight that was dated 8-19-15 on the Nazi cross revelation. I was driven to compassion when I read your testimony on one of your answers about how you are mocked, rejected, and I know you gave up everything to obey The Lord. I just felt it placed on me to let you know that you are treasured, and the Lord will honor what you are doing. I know YOU know that, yet sometimes to just be reminded or acknowledged by those that feel you have a great heart for The Lord is so important to renew your spirit. I know that we as “common man” are not the final word for how well you are doing in your eternal call, but we ARE told to encourage one another after we read your posts and test the truth of them with the Holy Spirit. I would say that prayer over these verbal attacks on you will become an important target in the coming days and pray WE WILL. What you have done in obedience is a great example to the ones looking to you for a Godly example. Since joining this site I can see you have fellow brothers and sisters that are really supportive not only of your posts, but of your spirit as a follower of The Lord. May you and your husband, who selflessly gave up the comforts of this temporary world be lifted up in brotherly/sister love, compassion and encouragement. Remember the Eternal dear sister – I pray your crown and robe reflects with shining glory in the heavenly realm what you both have done for Christ in sacrifice, love and obedience – may His peace keep surrounding you. What you are doing really matters.

Blessings to you and your husband , we will be victorious in the end with Him !!!!!!
