8-26-15: A Dream About “The Rapture”

1Peter 4:12-13 – “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation.”

Revelation 7:13-16 – “Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

Back in the 1990s, I had several dreams of “the rapture”. They all had two things in common: it occurred suddenly and unexpectadly.  There is one dream, in particular, that I feel I must share at this time:

I was standing outside of my parents house. It was during the daytime and there was nothing particularly special happening at that moment.

Then suddenly, I was snatched up and taken to Heaven.image

I went up to whom I knew to be my angel and asked:

Were we just in the pre-wrath rapture?

The angel answered, “Yes“.

I then said (something like this), “they’re going to have to change their charts then.”

I woke up.

In that short dream, I had an instant awareness that the “pre-wrath rapture” occurred at the Sixth Seal, referred to in Revelation Chapter 7. I was also instantly aware that NOBODY knew we had already been “in the tribulation”. From that point, until now, I know Christians must go through part of what has been described as “the tribulation”, we won’t even know we are in it, but the true believers and followers of Jesus will be removed before the Wrath of God is poured out.

We must all prepare for persecution, like our brothers and sisters in Christ have been facing in other parts of the world. We are no better than they are because we live in North America or in a “Western Nation”. I grieve over those who fallaciously believe they will not have to endure suffering, like Jesus said we would face, in these final days; many professing Christians, in the “Western World”, will fall away when death, disease, famine, persecution,war and global chaos visit the lands that have enjoyed “peace and safety”.

For my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, who cling to and believe in the “pre-tribulation rapture”, I beg you to please read the following excerpt from a letter Corrie TenBoom wrote in 1974, and take what she wrote to heart:

imageIn China, the Christians were told, “Don’t worry, before the tribulation comes you will be translated – raptured.” Then came a terrible persecution. Millions of Christians were tortured to death. Later I heard a Bishop from China say, sadly,

We have failed.
We should have made the people strong for persecution,
rather than telling them Jesus would come first.
Tell the people how to be strong in times of persecution,
how to stand when the tribulation comes,
– to stand and not faint.”

I feel I have a divine mandate to go and tell the people of this world that it is possible to be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are in training for the tribulation, but more than sixty percent of the Body of Christ across the world has already entered into the tribulation. There is no way to escape it.
We are next.

Since I have already gone through prison for Jesus’ sake, and since I met the Bishop in China, now every time I read a good Bible text I think, “Hey, I can use that in the time of tribulation.” Then I write it down and learn it by heart.

When I was in the concentration camp, a camp where only twenty percent of the women came out alive, we tried to cheer each other up by saying, “Nothing could be any worse than today.” But we would find the next day was even worse. During this time a Bible verse that I had committed to memory gave me great hope and joy.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye;
for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you;
on their part evil is spoken of,
but on your part He is glorified.”
(I Peter 3:14)

I found myself saying, “Hallelujah!
Because I am suffering, Jesus is glorified!”

In America, the churches sing, “Let the congregation escape tribulation”, but in China and Africa the tribulation has already arrived. This last year alone more than two hundred thousand Christians were martyred in Africa. Now things like that never get into the newspapers because they cause bad political relations. But I know. I have been there. We need to think about that when we sit down in our nice houses with our nice clothes to eat our steak dinners. Many, many members of the Body of Christ are being tortured to death at this very moment, yet we continue right on as though we are all going to escape the tribulation.”

    1. It’s such a sadly “controversial” area for Christianity, Sherry. I believe the main point is for all of us to be ready every day, because we don’t know when our “appointed day” is to step into eternity. Also, to prepare for persecution; we are in the very last days and we were warned by Jesus we would be “hated by all” because of His name (Matthew 10:22). I pray for all who call on the name of Jesus to be kind to brothers and sisters in Christ, who have differing points of view about this area and I pray ALL will be ready for His return and persecution prior to His return.

    1. Hi Sammie, I know NONE of us want to go through persecution. Neither did our brothers and sisters throughout the centuries and more recently, in Syria (with ISIS). I DO believe there will be a supernatural GRACE given for those who are in Christ, so we CAN “endure until the end”.
      One of the things that was consistent in ALL of the dreams I had about “the rapture” . . they were suddenly and unexpected, just like Jesus said they would be. I continue to pray for MERCY for all of us, in the midst of all of what’s coming, that HE will grant us peace, regardless of what we must go through. Also, may we STAND UP, STAND UP FOR JESUS. . . . with a “Holy Boldness”, when the Holy Spirit prompts, because I also believe we WILL see “the End Times Harvest of Souls” occur in the midst of the WORST days this planet has EVER seen.
